I decided to get a bit more aggressive and tried a different opening combination…..big blunder all the way around my opponent hammered me. I was holding out hope that I could hang on and win on time but couldn’t get away from Whites full out assault.

I blundered early by being too aggresive and it cost me although, due to the time limit, I nearly wound up winning! 48 moves in a 10 minute timed game is nothing to sneeze at and if you notice I still had 3:18 remaining. Good game and a good learning experience!

White blundered with his Qxc7 move removing any opportunity whatsoever for White to protect his King, which was under heavy attack. It was a very tough game but it also was a quickly played game on both sides. Good win for me and I learned a LOT from this match!
